Wybraniec boga zarazy | Champion of Pestilence God

Posted on November 30th, 2017 under , , , , , . Posted by

Cóż, ze zwierzoludzi pomalowałem raptem kilka modeli, trochę lepiej poszło mi swego  czasu z wojownikami – a teraz dorzuciłem do listy pomalowanych jeszcze jeden jeden model.

Searching through my old models sitting on the shelves, looking for something I could take photos for Inkub’s blog, I found an old, unfinished model, described in one of the Chaos army books as ‘Lord of Nurgle on Daemonic Mount’. It came to me that it would be nice to finally finish him. I started to collect Chaos army somewhere during 5th edition (or was it 6th?), when beastmen were introduced as a separate army – first in White Dwarf, then with its own, regular army book.

Initially, I bought a lot of horned fellows, then i bought some Chaos warriors and various allies. Well, I managed to paint just a few beastmen but it was a different story with Chaos warriors – I painted much more those miniatures – and this is another one.

GW released a lot really cool Chaos miniatures, but one I like the most is the one shown today. It was left unfinished for a long time, but finishing it was a really enjoyable experience. Painting itself was very fun, greens and browns are easy to paint. Additionally, metal miniature was of excellent quality. In fact, painting this champion was so fun that I want to finish few more Nurgle models. If only I could sleep no more…

Herald Nurgla | Herald of Nurgle

Posted on October 5th, 2017 under , , , , , , , . Posted by

Dowódca mojego oddziałku siewców zarazy, Herald Nurgla, pomalowany w sposób identyczny ze swoimi podwładnymi, gotowy do akcji i rozsiewania rozmaitych choróbsk. Z całej figurki malowanie dwóch elementów sprawiło mi najwięcej przyjemności – pierwszy to miecz, sporo większy od broni siewców zarazy, natomiast drugi bardzo przyjemny detal to oko w brzuchu.
Leader of my small unit of plaguebearers, Herald of Nurgle, painted in the same way as his lessen brothers. Finished and ready to spread diseases all over the universe. Two particular parts of this miniatures were a true joy to paint – his oversized blade and an eye in the gut.
