Finished! Typhus, Herald of the Plague God

Posted on November 9th, 2017 under , , , , . Posted by

This project was started during a private tutoring session. Super fun to work on after throwing away the derpy smoke that came with the sculpt (you know what I’m talking about). I’d also like to remind my regular readers I’ve moved my operations over t…

Zombtober – Plague zombies

Posted on October 22nd, 2017 under , , , . Posted by

It was about time that some zombies finally appeared during Zombtober, rather than survivors or Joes (cosplay survivors?). These are about half of the plague zombies form the recent 40k starter box. The poor souls are seriously twisted and full of infe…

Have you ever looked at a model and thought “Wow, that looks…not good?”. I’d assume yes, if you’ve been into tabletop as long as I […]

Herald Nurgla | Herald of Nurgle

Posted on October 5th, 2017 under , , , , , , , . Posted by

Dowódca mojego oddziałku siewców zarazy, Herald Nurgla, pomalowany w sposób identyczny ze swoimi podwładnymi, gotowy do akcji i rozsiewania rozmaitych choróbsk. Z całej figurki malowanie dwóch elementów sprawiło mi najwięcej przyjemności – pierwszy to miecz, sporo większy od broni siewców zarazy, natomiast drugi bardzo przyjemny detal to oko w brzuchu.
Leader of my small unit of plaguebearers, Herald of Nurgle, painted in the same way as his lessen brothers. Finished and ready to spread diseases all over the universe. Two particular parts of this miniatures were a true joy to paint – his oversized blade and an eye in the gut.

Finished! Foetid Bloat Drone

Rolling out another model form the recent Dark Imperium starter. This time the Foetid Bloat Drone, which I really enjoyed due to the negative space created by it’s floating nature. Very cool! I have fantasies of having a 40K army again but until that t…

Wesołek dziadka Nurgla | Grandpa Nurgle’s farceur

Posted on September 25th, 2017 under , , , , , , , . Posted by

Second to last plaguebearer, musician of this small unit. It plays some filthy tunes, dancing merilly at the same time. It was a little bit harder then others to paint around his head, as his musicial instrument is so big.

And speaking about painting – I tried to change two of the larger boils into eyes – it is chaos after all:)

Experimental pestilence

Siódmy wnuczek dziadzia Nurgla | Nurgle’s seventh grandson

Posted on September 7th, 2017 under , , , , , , , . Posted by

Szkoda, bo w innych zajęło mi to sporo czasu, a tu taki zonk.

Seventh plaguebearer was painted in numerous very short sessions – one minute here, five minutes three hours later, then again ten minutes well after midnight – I didn’t have time to paint properly. Still, I hope it is consistent with other demons and blends in into the whole unit – with a little help of bloody ass of course;)

I noticed while painting, that I forgot to fill a gap between a belly and a back. It’s a pity, as filling and smoothing over all joints took a long time on all other miniatures… Fortunately it is not that visible on the table.

And this is the last ‘ordinary’ plaguebearer, only command group to paint remains. Work goes slowly but I hope to paint all of them till next Monday.

Finished! Lord of Contagion

Man I love the new Death Guard models. Every time I paint some Nurgle goodness I’m entertaining the idea of an army. This time around was no exception, coupled with the onset of a new edition I was thinking about it double. But who has the time? I do, …

Nurgle Rhino APC [Completed]

Posted on August 10th, 2017 under , , . Posted by

During this long and fairly arduous weathering project, what essentially kept me going was that it afforded me the chance to expand my painting/modelling skill set. Sadly, it has been a while since I felt any enthusiasm painting W40K stuff. On the brig…
