30k – White Scars Army

Hello! As announced in the previous post, I would like to present you with the White Scars Legion army. This is one of my older works, I finished it a few years ago. Somehow it happened that only now I managed to sort all of the more than 2200 unpublished photos. I will successively add them to this blog, with a short description. As you can see, the vast majority of the models shown are units dedicated to the Horus Heresy system, embedded ten thousand years before the 40k events. In the pictures you will find such units as: Outrider Bikes MKIC Deimos Pattern Rhino Legion Scimitar Pattern Jetbike Legion Javelin Attack Speeder Additionally, a handful of ordinary legionnaires. The army is characterized by a considerable use of battle damages, pigments and weathering effects. Thanks to them the monotony of white is broken. I invite you to see a modest gallery of photographs and see you in the following entries! Commission painting – minisforwar@gmail.com

30k – White Scars / Deimos Pattern Rhino

Hey! In today’s entry we return to my old works. On the photo you can see two Rhino transporters. As you probably noticed, their construction is slightly different from the “40k” versions of this model – the front and sides are different. The upper manholes, equipped with two bolters, are also slightly different. The presented vehicles are marked as MKIC Deimos Pattern and are one of the oldest development versions of this carrier. The models are painted in the colours of the Withe Scars Legion. In the next post you will find quite a large heresy army…. But that’s about it soon! Commission painting – minisforwar@gmail.com

Adeptus Titanicus: Legio Mortis Warlord Titan

Following on the heels of my previous Adeptus Titanicus post, I've managed to complete the second Warlord titan from my boxed set. This fella is in the colours of Legio Mortis. In 30/40K lore, Legio Mortis is one of the oldest titan legions in existence, renown for being insufferably haughty and elitist. With this being the case I thought I've give their classic baroque black-red-and-gold armour the high gloss treatment, with very little weathering. In my mind's eye I see these alpha-level god engines having flights of cherubim servitors flitting around, continually buffing and waxing the armour to a blinding sheen. :)Nonetheless, I still wanted to make sure the model conveyed that it was a brutal war machine. With this in mind I chopped up some extra bits from a Civitas terrain sprue to create the wreckage of a administratum building that's in the midst of being pounded into dust by the Warlord. Also, to help place the scene within some sort of scale, I placed a small group of tech-thralls and
