You would think that finding matching colors for the hull and deck of the Super Battleship Yamato is a pretty straightforward exercise. Then again, I tend to overcomplicate things by overthinking solutions to problems arising out of extensive research. And so it was with the Yamato. Over the years there have been quite a few versions of this iconic anime spaceship. They can be largely grouped

It has been a long time coming, this project on anime's most iconic space-faring vehicle - the Space Battleship Yamato. Specifically, the version that I plan to assemble and paint as my first attempt at modelling the United Nations Cosmo Navy's most formidable warship in the year 2199 is the one on its way back to Earth from planet Iscandar, which is the destination of its maiden voyage. At this
Aired back in 2013, The Devil is a Part-Timer is based on a light novel of the same name, and is just an hilarious series.Because, if you where Satan, defeated and forced to flee to modern day Nippon, how would you rebuild your magic and status? Of course, by starting to work at McRonald's and try to dominate the world from there...This results however in him creating friendship bonds, first and foremost with co-worker Chiho, but also with his sworn enemy who followed him here, the Hero of Ente Isla, Emi. She just can't wrap her head around the fact that Satan is actually enjoying his time and tries to help people where he can, even going to public clean-ups.As they constantly confront and control each other, well, mostly Emi on Maou though, are being attacked by a few entities during their adventure and exploration together, but this only results in her getting more and more confused about the fact that the devil might not even have a plan at all, nor any ambition on returning to his home dimensi
Godly relief! In the same week that trailer came out for the horrific Netflix adaption of Saint Seiya, the newest anime in the franchise aired as well. And luckily, this is a lot more intresting, based on the manga who follow (more or less) the timeline of the original series. The Saintias are the hand maidens of Athena, and perhaps this is in one go my biggest gripe with the series. You see, originally Saori didn't realise she was Athena until somewhere in the Silver Saint arc, but here she already is aware while still organising the Galaxian Wars. The story follows Shoko, a young girl born under a bad star and destined to become the host vessel for Eris. however, at a young age she and her sister where saved by the intervention of Milo of Scorpio, and he did save her life even though that went against his orders. Later on, the godess returns, but Shoko's sister instead sacrifices herself to protect her sister. This leads to Shoko donning her sisters Equleus cloth instead, and set out to

Taking place after the second season, and before the recently started third one (at last), me and Noshi sat down to watch this very fun harem anime's latest instalment.Though I am convinced she wants to adopt Yoshino in the meantime...One day, Shido and the girls are enjoying Miku's latest concert, but on the train home he notices a strange blonde girl. When morning comes, he sees a large orb over the city, but apparently he is the only one able to.Investigations learn that this is an orb made of the jealousy energy of the spirits upon each other, as they all are in love with him. To break up the orb as such, he must go on individual dates with all of the girls, but he keeps seeing the blonde girl everywhere. She turns out to be a creation of the orb to see if he is worthy of storing the spirit energies, and as such is in love with him as well. Her jealousy however causes her angel to go berserk and they must all stand together to defeat him...An enjoyable movie, with a dramatic finale albeit not a
The first of the OVA's of this hilarious superhero shows, this takes a look at Saitama in his early days of heroing. In the same comical style as the main series, it is getting used to to see Saitama before he got his iconic look though.During his first year of training, Saitama (who still has hair, and is wearing a blue track suit) has defeated numerous villains in the abandoned area in Z-City but is still having problems with paying the rent, we know this because the landlady says he's 3 months overdue on his rent, Saitama speaks with a shop owner who is being forced to surrender his store's deed by a local gang, several other shops have gone out of business, a conversation between the gang boss and one of his stooges reveal that the boss has been buying out all the stores in the area to destroy them, and the store owner's store is the last one left, hearing this Saitama gives counsel to the clothes-shop owner telling him to not give up, then we find out that the gang's base is part of Saita
Okay, I`m late to the party, I admit...Between when I started watching this series, and finally finished it last week, about 1.5 years have passed. For no other reason then just nt coming around to finish these 3 final episodes. Not because I didn`t like the series, au contraire, I love this series as it's great fun, but just, well, forgetting to.So Saitama... a cult figure in the meantime, and a second season underway. He was a normal employee suddenly attacked by a monster, and he defeated it at great effort. He then decided to become a hero by training hard, and became SO strong that he defeats opponents with a single punch. This results in Genos, a cyborg, joining him to learn how to become so powerful, as Saitama defeats monster after monster, albeit reluctantly as he looks for a fair fight. Together with genos he enregisters with the Superhero hq... and is ranked in the lowest class as he flunks tests on purpose. because he isn`t in it for the fame or the responsibility, he h
