Blood Bowl

WIP: Nurgle's Rotters Bloodbowl

If you've been following #TaleofTuesday's you'll know I've been taking part in a four month project where four of us paint our own Bloodbowl teams. This Tuesday coming is my third month and I have to post another three players to stay on track. In the above picture you can see I've actually started all of the last six players. I thought I'd get the skin done on all six and then just finish three for the deadline. These have been undercoated with Grey Seer spray and the skin has been washed with a Contrast Medium + Xereus Purple mix. Then highlighted with a glaze of Ulthuan Grey. I'm batch painting these using my Get a Grips. Did you know I sell a bundle deal? Five grips that work out cheaper then five GW handles?

My First Sculpted Miniature – Blood Bowl Necromantic Coach

Long story short, for those who've heard it, is I got a miniature for my Undead and Necromantic teams to use as a coach. The model's quality was lacking, so I decided I'd give sculpting a miniature a shot. It's something I always wanted to try. Using the miniature I...continue reading

Tale of Tuesdays: SpaceShrimp Month 2 - Champions of Death

Hi all, welcome back to Tale of Tuesdays where I share my Bood bowl progress! So the latest additions are the mummy and the ball. Both of which took no time to paint, mainly due to contrast speeding up the process loads in certain areas such as the bandages on the mummy, and the tiny lil' skellie in the ball. You got to admit, it is pretty damn cute. I had a bit of a hickup this month with my undercoat making one of my tokens fuzzy. I undercoated these with a can to speed the process up and in my haste simply must not have shaken it enough. I haven't botched a spray in years, so ruining one of my tokens out of the blue really annoyed me!More after the jump

Gretchen Wachter “The Blood Bowl Widow” Painting Showcase

A friend at my FLGS bought this model with the intent of it becoming Gretchen Wachter, a Banshee special player for Blood Bowl. He gave it to me to paint, seeing as it's a player I can use, so that's what I did. Gretchen Wachter Showcase Painting Thoughts I sculpted...continue reading

Tale of Tuesdays: Stahly Month 2 - Naggaroth Nightmares

My models from month one are finished: A slightly reworked Blitzer, two line women and men, a ball and a turn marker. I‘m pretty happy with the paint scheme I‘ve settled with and as you read this, I‘m working on finishing this team for next month (I‘m a special snowflake and will only paint a six model team for Blitz Bowl). Hope you all get along nicely with your #taleoftuesdays team, and, if you haven‘t joined already, there is still time to paint your team for a chance to win a plastic team box. No doubt like many players, I picked up the Shambling Undead team for Blood Bowl and realized I only needed 4 different players to turn them into a Necromantic team. So, that's just what I did, and so many of these you may have already seen on my Undead team,...continue reading
