Recently released from Para Bellum, Conquest, The Last Argument of Kings (or just Conquest) is a new unit-based wargame set in the world of Ea. A few of the other folks here had a chance [...] The post To Battle! A Tale of Conquest – The Last Argument of Kings appeared first on Tabletop Games UK.
This time last week I was committed to buying and painting every issue of Warhammer 40,000 Conquest. Then I had a small break painting Stormcast and now I want to quit the monthly magazine subscription. I go into detail as to why after the jump.More after the jump
++VOX TRANSCRIPT++ This is brother Tumial, Sergeant of the 5th Squad of 3rd Company. My Infiltrators have retrieved the lost cargo from the wreckage of the enemy Rhino. Vehicle appears to be pre heresy with Dark Angel markings. Perhaps someone in command can tell us what in the Emperor's name is going on? Also, we will be requiring a Tech-Adept to run diagnostics on all our scanners. We've been getting quite a lot of ghost blips that don't...++VOX TRANSCRIPT END++More after the jump
This is a bit of a landmark blog post. This is my 50th blog post talking about the Conquest Publication. After the jump, I bring you up to speed and share some photos.More after the jump
OK for all the trouble this model was to paint, I'm really pleased I pushed through to finish him because I'm really happy with the results. In his bright white armour he is really going to stand out amongst the see of green bodies. More pics after the jump.More after the jump
Out of all the models in the Conquest publication, this model is the hardest by far. Anything with a white undercoat sees me spending ages putting shadow and shading back into the model with every time I pick up a paint brush I run the risk of an accidental slip and getting a dark colour on the light armour. Just like I've done on his raised hand. This model is dragging as well. He's taking so long to paint I'm not enjoying it at this point. Just want it done now.
Roll up, roll up. Come and feast your eyes on the spectacle that is the contender for the most boring picture I've contributed to this blog. It's some drybrushed pipes. But after the jump I want to talk about something far more interesting - 'a quick win'.More after the jump
I've fallen for the favoured of Nurgle's sons. I recently purchased the Deathguard Codex because the army is growing and I wanted to know how many points it is. After the jump I'll tell the total points of the army to date and why Papa Nurgle is my new favourite faction. More after the jump
Crazy month for Conquest models. We were treated to a Heretic Astartes Rhino, a Gravis Captain with three sergeants and some ruined building terrain pieces. That's a lot of models to paint! After the jump some close ups as well as group shots of both armies so far!More after the jump
Issue 29. Let that seep in for a moment. I never would have thought I could have kept up with 29 weekly issues of a magazine subscription but here we are. More pictures after the jump. More after the jump
You recently saw my Gravis Captain and this post is about the other three marines that came with issue 29 of Conquest. After the jump I tell you why these models feel odd.More after the jump
