[EN/PL] Stirland. Part III. Inhabitants / Mieszkańcy (Marksmen #1)

Hello everyone in the night of magic, spells and communing with the dead!        At the beginning I will inform you my Dears about my discovery that my daughter is a hidden follower of Nurgle, god of plagues.A few days ago she brought such a virus from the nursery that we are (with wife) try to stand from the floor to this day. It's better but evil doesn't sleep...       That's why today's post was supposed to be a bit different, but I didn't have enough time / power for painting  (I recommend listening to Lovecraft's stories in fever. New, disturbing experiences guaranteed ;-)). Luckily, however, I had two more archers ready and repainted for my Stirland band, which I just present ...I. Stirland. Part I. HistoryII. Stirland. 15mm Fantasy Non-Empire....

The biggest martial investment that a state of the Empire or indeed a wealthy city state can make is the construction of a might Landship.....These are massive steam powered leviathans armed with mighty cannons and crewed by fearless men and sometimes the odd dwarf.Being heavily armoured they can place themselves into the hottest part of the battle and use their sheer mass to punch large holes through the enemy lines. The Landships are armed with two might cannon.  The largest mounted in the hull can only be fired when the Landship is stationary but it can basically target anything on the battle field that it can see.  The second is mounted in a rotating turret and can be fired on the move.  The big gun is also a cause of fear to anyone trying to hide behind a city or fortress wall! Now a Games Workshop Steam Tank looks far more convincing in 15mm as you can imagine the crew inside feeding the steam boiler and manning the mighty weapons.  But that is just my warped chain of though.

[EN/PL] Stirland. Part II. Inhabitants / Mieszkańcy (Deathjacks captain #1)

Welcome!Following the blow, today is the second entry about the team from Stirland. In the first part I presented some information about the land itself and its history, and today I will look at the population of this province of the Empire.         For the entry I used the model of an old nobleman from Warhammer Quest, to whom I added a hat and repainted it to match the color of people from Stirland. I also changed the baseand added the name.I invite you!I. Stirland. Part I. Dark of hair and suspicious of strangers, their bloodline has remained one of the most pure within the Empire. Some folk point out this is

Star Wars: Legion – Downed AT-ST

Hello! It’s time to reveal the first card in the Star Wars: Legion series on our blog. For the uninitiated, this is a system from Fantasy Flight Games. It focuses on playing medium sized battles in the Star Wars universe. Currently, the game covers the period of the so-called “old trilogy”, i.e. film episodes IV-VI. Soon there will be a big expansion, which will take us to the time of Clone Wars (episodes I-III). The set that I present to you today is one of the officially released elements of the scenery. The figurine is really big, with quite a lot of details. It can only scare away with the price, because it costs exactly as much as the normal AT-ST. In the set we also get a few cards useful in the game. We decided to enrich the original set with a bit of vegetation – a tufts, bushes, grass and lichens. I invite you to see the photo gallery below Soon you can expect a lot of Legion on our blog. Be alert! Commission painting services- minisforwar@gmail.com / Messenger

[EN/PL] Mordheim: Witch Hunters. Finished band! / Łowcy Czarownic. Skończona banda!

Hello everyone! The moment has come, expected for over 3 years! I finished another band!It is true that about 15 years ago I painted the Witch Hunters band (and even with more interesting models), but there was no trace of them left, and they would now only be suitable for washing.        That is why I happily welcome again, in my opinion, the most atmospheric of all Mordheim's bands. That's the quintessence of this game. Who didn't want to play the role of a witch hunter playing RPGs? And commanding the whole unit sounded even better!Today, the last two flagellants (including the climate halfling from Westfalia Miniatures) and photos of the whole band. I invite you!You can find all entries about Witch Hunters ===> THERE----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Order of the Templars of Sigmar, universally known as the Witch Hunters, is an organisationdedicated to the eradication of heretics, be they warlocks, witches, sor

[EN/PL] Mordheim: Witch Hunters: Flagellants #2 / Łowcy Czarownic: Biczownicy #2

Hello everyone!Admittedly, I had plans to finish three new Flagellants, not one, but the flood of work-related matters that waiting after the holidays took me away physically and mentally, and my eyes needed rest :-)       I am returning to my Witch Hunter project today.Previous entries about this atmospheric band in the damned Mordheim under THIS LINKThe models that I decided to use are 6-edited metal Flagellants from the Empire army.BTW my favorite designs from all editions of this unit in WFB.Today, the text refers directly to the history of FlagellantsI invite you!Flagellants  are the same name of members of religious brotherhoods, existing from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century. The countries in which they mainly carried their news and bloody sacrifices were Italy and Germany. Then also Spain and Poland joined. In our "pious" country for centuries, public whipping has been practiced as a form of repentance for grave sins. The name Flagellants came from the Lat
