Monsterpocalypse – Destroyers Starter Set

Hello! Monsters attack the city! At the beginning of the week, our blog featured Protectors Starter Set for Monsterpocalypse. Today I would like to present you the figurines from the Destroyers Starter Set. Monsterpocalypse is a system about powerful beasts, set in a cinematic, overdrawn atmosphere. The game is published by Privateer Press and has a few really nice models. If you are interested, I encourage you to visit the producer’s website and see the gallery In a small box, in addition to the rules and accessories, we get six figures made of resin. The quality of the copies we had the pleasure to paint was average – large and hard to remove mould lines. In the next entry we will move to the Old World – BloodBowl! Monsterpocalypse – Protectors Starter Set

Hello! Welcome back after the weekend In today’s entry I would like to present you the models from the starter set for the Monsterpocalypse. The game is about fighting gigantic monsters in urban metropolises – comics, superheroes and Godzilla. The figures we get in the starter set are well made, although the material (resin?) is quite difficult to process. Painting process is really nice and enjoyable. I just wonder if this multitude of systems from Privateer Press is a sign of their strength, or rather a desperate search for a way out of the dying WM/H… I hope you like the Protectors set presented here. I invite you to visit our blog regularly – every two days you can expect more publications Commission painting services – minisforwar@gmail.com OR Messenger.

I never played the first wave of Monsterpocalypse. Despite wonderful reviews and a solid fan base it was not for me. Random boxes in miniature games were all the rage at the time and my rage was leveled at them. Magic: The Gathering should have just stayed in its lane and not infected the greater gaming industry…but that is a completely different post. This, oh this, is a look at the brand new and improved, dropping today, MONSTERPOCALYPSE! Some brave customs officer threw his or herself into the line of fire forcing the delay until today. These beasts cannot be stopped and more are coming! GenCon is always my favorite place to find my next gaming fix. While there, two long and comparatively game-less months ago, it was this beautiful man that introduced me to the joy of building crushing beneath the bodies of kaiju inspired monstrosities! Oh a wonderful wizard Oz is! A quick demo sold me on the mechanics and one look at Brewgrosh (Cthugrosh sculpted by Doug Hamilton and the Beer-Swilling con-exclusive
