Recently for Father's Day I received Warhammer Underworlds Night Vault from my two year old. These are the first two models I'm painting from the set. After the jump I want to chat about shoulder pads and contrast paint. More after the jump
Well, there I was celebrating the completion of this unit and more importantly hitting the target of 2000pts and the 2019 General's Handbook is released and with it the AOS App and it's in-built Azyr army builder app is also updated. After the jump I tell you how that's affected the points of my force. More after the jump
Quick post today just to update you guys on my Stormcast project. This Celstar Ballista is my last unit I'm painting to complete 2000pts. All the colours are blocked in, most of the shading is done, I still have to highlight all the colours. Shouldn't take too much more to finish them.
September last year, I shared a WIP post of two Dracothion Guard, 9 months later and they're finished. I took the fancy shot above to celebrate. After the jump I share some close ups and give my thoughts on nearly hitting 2000pts of Stormcast. More after the jump
Today on the blog I share my recently finished Stormcast warband for Warhammer Underwords. This colourful group of warriors are called The Farstriders. I love these models, I mean look at them, hand held repeating crossbows, heavy armour and a parrot. Ok it's not a parrot it's called an Aetherwing. After the jump I share pictures of all my warbands painted so far and give some tips on how I took these photos. More after the jump
I have this mate. I've not known him long but he's a top bloke. For Christmas he bought me the Stormcast Endless spells. He loves Age of Sigmar and has painted Seraphon and Skaven. Age of Sigmar isn't even on my radar as I'm knee-deep in Conquest and Shadowspear. After the jump find out why I've painted these endless spells. More after the jump
Just a quick snap from my painting desk today to share my current progress of my Celestar Ballista. The warmachine is finished and I'm about half way done on the crew. My Get a Grips are helping me a lot with these. It's weird how a new piece of equipment (wether it's brushes, paint, clippers or even a grip) can really motivate you to paint. I kinda get that feeling with new models. New models do motivate me to paint but theres a limit, as soon as it gets too much it has the opposite effect. One new model is fine, 100 is damn right scary. I think that's why I've enjoyed not buying the Soul Storm boxset and instead opted to buy the army in chunks of a few hundred points instead. Seems to be working out well and I'm on track to complete 1500pts soon. I can't wait to share the army shot.
I've added some magical might to my Stormcast army in the form of a Knight Incantor (above, left). In the pic above are all four of my characters from my force. Eagle eyed viewers would have noticed I've added a shield to my Lord Celestant on Dracoth. After the jump some close ups of my Knight Incantor.More after the jump
