[EN/PL] The Orcs continued! / O orkach ciąg dalszy! (Warmonger Miniatures Orc #2)

Good morning!Today is the weekend and I am inviting for a new entry on DwarfCrypt! It will be green and in the climate of my favorite oldhammer (and middlehammer, for which my greatest expansion into Warhammer was).       Recently, my long-awaited package from Warmonger Miniatures, in which there were a few orcs, to my emerging band of green brutes. And in this enthusiasm I painted one of them. I added excellent shields from Rotten Factory to the original model (and the previous orc).I cordially invite you!Orcs dont establish kingdoms or states as people do. Still, there are lands that are under total control of the Orcs or their smaller cousins - the Goblins. Most Orcs distinguish between two types of land: "green" and "other pieces".        The more ambitious warlords see the world more accurately: "my green", "green what will be my" and "other pieces".Orcs and Goblins are the most numerous in the Badlands. There are also other areas in which they remai

[EN/PL] Mother Holle (Frau Holle) - The Germanic Goddess of Death and Renewal, Weaver of Fate and Fortune / Holle - Germańska Bogini Śmierci i Odrodzenia, Tkaczka Losu i Fortuny (Northumbrian Tin Soldier The Beardfolk #3)

For painting, I chose one of the more armored figures from those painted so far, depicting the dwarven commanding officer, queen or high-born.I recommend you visit:Northumbrian Tin Soldier FBhttps://www.northumbriantinsoldier.com/I do not know why but for the first time when I saw this model in the raw state I associated with the image of one of the Germanic goddesses (yes, I am a great admirer of Germanic and Nordic mythology) about which I would like to tell my Honorable Visitors today.I cordially invite you!I think that many people may know Mother Holle (Frau Holle from German) from the fairy tale of the Grimm bros. She is an old woman living in the world at the bottom of a well. It is said that anyone who enters her kingdom will be rewarded with exactly what he deserves, whether it is good or bad.        Interestingly, Mother Holle is actually a very old Goddess. Its roots are so

[EN/PL] Landsknechts V: Wir sind des Geyers Schwarzer Haufen / We are Florian Geyer's Black Company / Jesteśmy Czarnym Hufcem Geyera

Hello everyone! The first historical entry on DwarfCrypt in the new year today. I return to one of my favorite topics- Landsknechts.I will take a closer look at the Black Company by Florian Geyer and show three new soldiers painted for the occasion. Other entries related to this multicolored formation can be found below:I. Sacco di Roma / The Sack of Rome / Złupienie Rzymu (1527)II. Landsknechts II: Dopplesoldiers / Landsknechci - Podwójnożołdacy (Artizan Designs)III. Landsknechts III: Regiment (Warlord Games)IV. Landsknechts IV: Recruitment / Rekrutacja (Warlord Games)The original German name of the Black Company was Schwarzer Haufen. The term Schwarz (black) pointed out the ideological distance of the company from the large peasant army at that time, which called itself the Heller Haufen (Hell meaning "light-colored"). Black Lancknechts probably also distinguished black elements of uniforms. The German word Haufen was the name the peasants gave to their armed companies.

[EN/PL] Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and... / Doktor Jekyll i pan Hyde i.. (Grabblecast Modular Stone Wall)

Hello everyone in the first post in the New Year!I dont predict major revolutions this year at DwarfCrypt, and as it was in previous years, you can expect, my dears, once a week entry with painted models + short, non-boring storytelling.I used in today's entry:Burke & Hare models from the West Wind Production;Professor Egir Eldstrom's model (which has not got a separate entry yet, and was already painted good two years ago!) from Micro Art Studio;Elements of the Modular Stone Wall area from friends from Grabblecast.Modular Stone Wall is made of resin and consists of 9 parts. The walls and the gate are so universal that they fit perfectly into fantasy and historical wargames. In my post they will do as an element of Gothic-Victorian scenery. My only addition is a monk figurine, which I added for a climate on one of the brick pillars. One of the elements that reminds me of the atmosphere of Victorian horror is literature and, among other things, a short novel by the Scottish author Robert Loui
