I recently painted up Mollog's Mob for the Warhammer: Underworlds game. We have played the game a few times and found it to be a good, light multi-player game. As a warband, Mollog’s Mob is focused around Mollog - a single, brutally powerful troll. His much weaker friends provide some fun abilities and offer various distractions for opponents. The miniatures were simple and fun to paint up - just I primed Mollog in purple with blue zenithal highlights. I them just base-coated significant areas, then dipped each model, per my usual method. I simply used metallic Sharpie pen for metal items. I think they turned out well for a couple of hours of painting time in total.
Not too much to say for an intro other than I've finished painting my Mollog's Mob warband for Warhammer Underworlds. Mollog's Mob The warband was a lot of fun to paint. I played around with different colors, combos, and techniques. I think I bought more paint while working on this...continue reading

Let's start off with some fun stuff. Blood Bowl The 4th Blood Bowl season at my FLGS has concluded. I did well in regular season going 6 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw with my Undead, the Cryptkickers. I made it through the playoffs to the final game against Benito's...continue reading

Along with Zarbag's Gitz the Eyes of the Nine were released late 2018. Introducing the followers of Tzeentch to the game. Therefore adding after two warbands devoted to Khorne and the undivided Godsworn Hunt, another part of the pantheon of chaos. The warband of the Eyes of the Nine is a supplement for Warhammer Underworlds […]
Zarbags Gitz were one of the first warbands released for Nightvault, late last year and with the recent release of the Gloomspitze Gitz it makes sense to take a closer look at them. The warband of Moonclan Grots (formerly known as Nightgoblins) is the largest of them available for Underworlds so far and after the […]
Paired up with Mollog's Mob, the second warband that isn't part of a regular Age of Sigmar faction is introduced as a warband for Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault - Godsworn Hunt. Godsworn Hunt belongs to the chaos pantheon, but unlike the Reavers or Magore's Fiends, not devoted solely to Khorne, but part of the Darkoath. The […]
During Warhammer Fest Europe last year the new season of Underworlds Nightvault was announced, we were told that factions would be introduced to the game that haven't been released for Warhammer or Age of Sigmar. Thus bringing us the warbands of Mollog's Mob and Godsworn Hunt. Let's start with Mollog's Mob today. The warband was […]

Roo, in true wargamer style, has been jumping from project to project recently. Having started painting up some 28mm Fins for Bolt Action, he then started chopping up Space Marines (although not to play 40K - I'm not sure what rules system he had in mind for that). Then he started swapping out the bendy axe from a pre-painted D & D Gnoll and replaced it with a much more sturdy weapon and latterly he decided to finish painting up the figures for his Orc/ Orruk Warband for Warhammer Underworlds. For some reason he decided to paint them up using the colours of the Marios Bros so Gurzag, seen above, is in blue and red in homage to Mario himself.Bonekutta is in the colours of LuigiHakka wearing yellow as does WarioAnd Basha in the colors of Waluigi.Of course, having such a fancy colour scheme is all very well but until they had been proved in battle, the Waaaghrio Bros may as well stay in the box.So it was that they took to the table to play their first game of Warhammer Underworlds, taking on the servant of K
When I started my skirmish warband in October, this was done on the premise of creating it based on the original rules of Age of Sigmar Skirmish. Since January, AoS Skirmish is now more of an extension of the Generals Handbook and in general, with a new Warhammer Underworlds version and the forthcoming Warcry game, […]
The Eyes of the Nine for Warhammer Underworlds, one of the latest war band. It's up there with my favourites for this game, great faction.
